Another beach stone I picked up last year in Greece. In smooth matte black, it's one cool stone!
Hand set in a very simple fine and sterling silver bezel, it swings from a hand forged top loop bail on a 16" Italian sterling silver ball chain that closes with my signature hand forged j-hook clasp. The silver setting around the stone was given a light patina bath and hand polished to a soft, glowing sating finish leaving only a tiny bit of oxidization around the top bail. The black stone contrasts beautifully with the bright polish of the sterling. All metalwork done in studio by hand, by me. The beach stone is 20mm x 15mm, pendant is 23mm (a bit shy of 1") top to bottom. Full necklace length is 16.5".
